Memory

The director was part of the 28th batch graduates of the Korean Academy of Film Arts majoring in production. He also belongs to the 9th graduating class of the Korean Academy of Film Arts studying KAFA+ S3D and taking the scenario track under the Feature Research Program. The director graduated as a Film Directing major from the Department of Performance Visual Media of Chung-Ang University. The protagonists of his films are socially vulnerable women. The director planned produced and coauthored the script for Azooma a feature film featuring Jang Youngnam Ma Dongseok and Bae Seongwoo that was invited to and won at the Moscow International Film Festival and 15 other local and international film festivals. He also produced the feature documentary Hero of the Troubled Times which starred Kim Ilhae. Furthermore the director planned produced authored the script and directed Memory a feature film with a female lead and is currently working on postproduction. His other short films include Man and Wife an S3D short film that was invited to the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival which was one of the world’s top three short film festivals and Magic Bedding a short film set in the Japanese colonial era that showcased the use of 3D mapping technology for the first time in Korea. The director also planned and directed Christmas Gift Witch Hunter Family and 15 other short films including the animated film Entry.
